Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
That sounds awful. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that. Mine are pretty bad, sometimes to the point where I literally can't move or talk without it making me sick. The only thing that works for me is Zomig, but it's most effective when the headache is just starting. If it's already a full blown migraine, it may not work as well or takes a couple doses to knock it out.
My heart is with you... It sucks to have this but I strongly believe there will be an answer to all this pain. I am keeping my eye on the latest research. I believe they (Specialists) will find the answer soon as they are finding some very interesting facts concerning the pain and stimuli.
Anyway my fellow survivor, never give up:) Keep being strong... I am in so much pain right now and it has taken ages to type this but your post moved me to respond. I am new on this site and you are the first person I have responded to. Time to keep still again lol....
