Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
Medical M is good for abougt any pain ... I htink you answered your own question..
There are long-term side effects of marijuana but probably not more than any other drug you have already used.
You have been dealing with this a LONG time. Your choice seems to be to use marijuana illegally or move out of state.
i've been living with chronic daily migraine for about 8 years, and i can honestly say that, were it not for the pain relief i get from marijuana, i would have chosen suicide long ago. i don't drive under the influence, and i've gotten better at interacting with people and being functional (sometimes even productive!) after using it. it's legal here now, but even when it wasn't, i had no qualms about buying and using it for pain relief -- and sometimes, yes, for a little blessed oblivion.
i've tried every legal option under the sun, with little relief, and i'm so, so grateful that marijuana exists.
warm wishes to you,

Don't count on UT being last. There's a saying in Florida "Thank God for Mississippi" (or Alabama sometimes). Whenever there's a rating of the states for lack of literacy, percentage of high school dropouts, public corruption, highway fatalities, etc., etc., anything that the citizens of our state could be ashamed of, Florida would almost always be last (poorest rating) if it were not for Mississippi, Alabama or once in a while Arkansas. So I got a bet with you that UT is before FL.
I hope you're right about Utah... it is just so conservative that sometimes it feels like we're last with everything!! :)
Shame on the government for making us take crazy prescription drugs with dangerous and awful side effects when there us something natural and harmless and good for the environment to! Just another way to make money. Prescription drugs don't cure, they make customers. not you say I don't take them. But how often do you go to a doctor and all whets wing, and without offering you a reason our options, ask they do is take it there prescription pad. Then when the side effects are bad, there comes out that pad again!
I strongly urge you watch a documentary called The Union. It may enlighten many people who have swayed people on this subject. Good luck and I hope you feel better.
