Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
I imagine that massage would help a person relax, so it sounds like a good way to deal with migraine.
I also take a muscle relaxer to ease up the tightness in my neck, shoulders, and back.
Truthfully, it was when I stopped working at my stressful job last October that my migraines slowly became controllable. (no joke)
In September 2010 I had 20 migraines, and in July 2011, I had one migraine. I plan on going back to work this September! We'll see what happens!!
My migraines are a combination of a head injury and a neck injury.
Give it a go!
