Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
I'm so so scared. I used to just get migraines with pain behind one eye, light sensitivity, etc. Now I get neurological symptoms. I've had 3 migraines now where I've had those scary symptoms. The first time I couldn't speak words in the right order or spell words properly and I went to the hospital because I was scared. The second time I had that plus visual symptoms (curvy burry lines in my visual field). Today I had both of those plus my hand went almost totally numb. My foot and the right side of my lips went tingly too.
I'm so scared when this happens. I work in health care with elderly people who have had strokes. I feel like I'm having a stroke. I've checked myself for that (lifting both arms, smiling, speaking, sticking my tongue out, etc) and that's all been ok. A nurse at work checked my pupils today too. So that's all fine. No stroke.
But it's so scary. It feels like my brain isn't working properly. I'm only 30 years old. I have two small children and a full time job and my husband is disabled so it al falls to me. My brain is not allowed to stop working!!!
Do you guys get scared? How do you deal with the fear? What if some day I actually have a stroke and won't even realize it?

they sound nasty and I feel your pain as I use to have them and had it non stop for a year.
I had my c1 atlas bone put back in place, its under the skull and its one major cause of migraines and neuro symptoms. most of us have it out of place. crazy I know! read on the web on atlas profilax and decide for yourself.
if you want to be rid of pain like I did and will do anything then please look it up.
after one week my migraine neck and eye and skull pain and all head crap went!! I walk straight now too lol
