Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
There is a really good book called Wheat Belly. A doctor wrote it, I can't remember his name, but he talks about how the wheat we consume today is not the same wheat we consumed back when we were children. He calls it Frankenwheat. It's not hard to think that that could be a trigger of my migraines.
I hope you will be feeling better on a daily basis.
More and more, it seems like it's the gluten. Which actually sucks because I really loved to eat cheerios in the morning. Not so much anymore :( And now I eat my boca burger without the roll.
Did you make the cake and know what ingredients were used?
@Sooootired- the cake was from a bakery, but obviously has wheat gluten. And I just LOVE vanilla cake from a bakery. But I've been doing well staying away from bread and wheat. I really can tell the difference.
