Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
I'm sorry this happened to you; I can only imagine how scared you were. I have had the slurred speech before with a migraine, but not the other symptoms.
BIG HUGS and take care.
Hope you feel better.
You should see a Neurologist though and address it, as angee suggests.
Another aura sypmtom that usually pops up is a sudden burst of energy before a migraine.
Because migraines mimic strokes, its good to know the difference. A stroke victum can't smile or when they stick their tongue out, it comes out crooked.

Make sure you get to a neurologist that actually is up to date on migraine info (not all neurologists are migraine specialists) and figure out what exact type of migraine you have as that will determine the course of medication you can or can not take.
Here is a great link that I always go back to about the different migraine phases: http://migraine.com/migraine-basics/migraine-phases/ I know I was relieved and a bit surprised to find out that frequent yawning is a symptom of one phase of a migraine attack. Hope it helps you as much as it helped me!
