Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
If I even get around anyone smoking pot, I get a horrific migraine, that is the "go to the Hospital E.R." type of migraine, so I never tried it.
I understand that there is a type of pot that does NOT have the capabilities of getting high, so if your doctor is looking into MJ, you may want to look into that particular type of pot. Otherwise, you may find yourself unable to drive, perhaps unable to be in an office to work because you would be considered "under the influence" and police can pull you over and ticket you and take you to jail. It's like if you took a sleeping pill and then were out driving and not driving well, deemed under the influence, you get ticketed and taken to jail.
RONOMAHANE, I hope you get the info you're looking for.
Take care.
I am 69 years old. For the last two years I have been using cannibas and it ALWAYS has a very good effect relieving my migraine.
The doctor who examined me said I should EAT it rather than smoke it for my Migraines.
I ate some of a pot cookie and just after 2 bites, I was REALLY STONED AND HYPER! I was so hyper I ran around and did a lot of projects! It did NOT make me tired at all! Just the opposite!
Here is my question?
Was it the POT THAT TOOK AWAY MY MIGRAINE PAIN?
OR,
WAS I TOO HIGH TO REMEMBER I HAD A HEADACHE IN THE FIRST PLACE BECAUSE I WAS SO BUSY DOING DIFFERENT THINGS?
It definitely DISTRACTED ME FROM MY PAIN!
I hope you understand what I am saying?
All and all, I DID NOT LIKE BEING SO HIGH!
I thought it would RELAX me but it acted like SPEED!
P.S.
I ACCOMPLISHED SO MANY THINGS (too many things), MY LOWER BACK HURT THE NEXT DAY - LOL!
