Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
Usually after a day and a half , sometimes sooner, if I am getting no relieef.. I have to call my Dr and get a rescue shot.. alot of people go to the Er for help, but wheree I live they just think you are seeking drugs, so it's not even an option anymore to go to ER for me. But the rescue shot ALWAYS gets rid of the migraine.. It knocks me out,, and I feel really draggy for a day or two after I get one.. but NO MIGRAINE!!! I sure hope you get to feeling better. You are in my thoughts and prayers.. God Bless You ! Lori
