Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.

I have learned to not expect others to understand what I am going through.
I do have 1 older brother who also has very bad migraines :( and we do discuss every so often and he "gets it.".
35. Using Migraine as an excuse when you only have a headache, is like saying you have epilepsy when you only have the shivers.
While this may be true, my pain does not diminish yours in the least. Granted, most people don't understand what its like to live this way, but c'mon folks - you can have a headache too! Its really ok! I promise! ;-)
