Methamphetamine is a synthetic stimulant drug used for both medicinal and recreational purposes. Methamphetamine is highly psychologically addictive. Like most stimulants, large doses of methamphetamine can result in a strong feeling of euphoria at the expense of physical fatigue and a strong "come-down" as the drug's effect wears off.
Meth addiction is a hairy addiction and needs to be handled with tough love. That can include divorce if need be. I have been clean for many years now and am grateful for my sobriety.
If your spouse is using the best thing you can do for yourself and family is to throw them the spouse, out and seek hel-p for yourself.
This site is dangerous in that person's with NO credentials, medical or legal, are dispensing advice to persons that are compromised.
You've been on this site now for a few days telling others what they should or should be not be doing.
You're a dual diagnosis patient yourself so frankly how about getting your own life together, earning your degree, obtaining some solid credentials and THEN advising others on their best course of action?
How about suggesting intervention by professionals, instead of telling others how to deal with their families.
Just plain dangerous.
If some poor soul takes your advice and looses their family member, are you going to be responsible?
Why do I have a feeling that the answer is NO.
You more than likely have nothing to sue for anyway, so please keep your advice to yourself.

Find some qualified people and get some help. A better life awaits you!
Look for the successful people, not those down in the trenches.
