Methamphetamine is a synthetic stimulant drug used for both medicinal and recreational purposes. Methamphetamine is highly psychologically addictive. Like most stimulants, large doses of methamphetamine can result in a strong feeling of euphoria at the expense of physical fatigue and a strong "come-down" as the drug's effect wears off.

Hello my name is John. I have been clean from heroine and alcohol for a good couple years. I was clean from meth as well. I started again in October 2017. I quit recently for a month and things were going great again. I have been using for 2 weeks, everything is a mess. My conscience, my spirit that God created is torn. I quit again tonight. I went to Teen Challenge on my own for 13 months 2015-2016 and was on fire for the Lord. I know it is the choices I make. There is something wrong with my freaking brain. What the f is wrong with me?

You are an addict and that is more powerful than the God of the church's. You need to get clean and sober with a 12 step program when you hit bottom. There you will met a God of your own understanding and you can stay clean and sober one minute at a time for how ever long ;you work your program.

There is nothing wrong with you except you have a disease. It’s a cunning and baffling disease. No matter what sobriety26 wrote nothing is more powerful than God. I can testify to that. I went to a Celebrate Recovery at a church, got down on my face and cried out for the Lord to deliver me from this addiction. He answered my prayers! I knew the moment I got up that the chains of addiction to this demonic drug was broken. I’m 3 months sober and I haven’t craved the drug one time. God is ever faithful. Find a Celebrate Recovery in your town. God does work miracles but you still have to do the work. My best to you!

I use to be a missionary with a cult. I went all over the south for 5 years witnessing and fundraising. Then I went to NY. After 5 years of sobriety the minister told me I was cured and wasn't an alcoholic. A week later I was no longer a missionary and was living at my parents house drinking and using. I gave my life to the lord at Billy Grahmn Crusades and other churches only to end up drunk again.

It wasn't until I gave alcoholics anonymous a chance that I got to stay sober. I have been clean and sober for 27 years with a God of my own understanding guiding my life. I just had to become teachable for AA to work.

I recent graduated an iop/sop drug program and one thing i learned is that people that suffer from the disease of addiction have major thinking errors. If you want to talk about it I’m here no judgement
