Meth Addiction & Recovery Support Group
Methamphetamine is a synthetic stimulant drug used for both medicinal and recreational purposes. Methamphetamine is highly psychologically addictive. Like most stimulants, large doses of methamphetamine can result in a strong feeling of euphoria at the expense of physical fatigue and a strong "come-down" as the drug's effect wears off.
get out of it. get out of there. things can be different. you can feel happy..even without the drug
I am sorry to leanr of someone else going through this. IT SUCKS, mine went out all night and then had the balls to come home and question my faithfulness. WTF?
Get him help...see ifhe wants help if not get out of there when you can, it only gets worse.
Never associate with anyone who is using or hangs with the crowd who does...
I believe people can change but make the best choice for yourself and your children and other family members...Make Good Correct Choices, choose to change! For the better.
A man I had a relationship started to treat me the same way and i blamed grief and alcohol and tried to help his insecurities. It went on painfully for an unnecessary amount of time. He was like this BEFORE he met me to previous partners and I would bet he will do it AGAIN. I realised that when I went through tough times it did not affect my treatment of others no matter what I was experiencing I never took it out on anyone.
We are still pals and this may not be in anyway applicable to you but its my experience.
Don't let it his moods bring you down. Ideally, move out . You need clarity. He needs to know you will not tolerate this treatment or you will be leaving. He will feel your absense and it could motivate your fella to do something positive. I know it is a hard thing to do when you are very much in love but don't allow him to carry on thinking this is ok.
Best of Luck x
