In the last six months, My life has been seriously affected by people that do meth. The day after Christmas, my neighbors decided to cook meth and it ended with a fire. I have kids and pets! I was in the shower when it happened and had to run outside in my pj's, with 3 birds under my robe! My kids had just left. I was displaced and had to go through withdraws from the meth. I ended up losing a bird and failed 2 college courses, as a result. It's costing me thousands. A week and a half ago, my neighbor was in a near fatal, single car accident. She went off the road and hit a tree on the driver's side, crushing her left side. She has 3 little girls, that I absolutely adore, and my daughter is extremely attached to her 4 mo. old. I've taken her kids over night a few times, cause there was no one else. She's looking at jail time and CPS is involved. She could lose her kids!

I have 5 years clean from drugs! I've done meth and know what goes into making it. That's why I'm so affected! It hurts me to watch! I'm an active person in educating people on addiction and how it affects the body. I go to schools to share my story and educate kids.

I just wanted to share that with u, so u know that there's always hope and people can recover, if they have the desire and are given the right tools. Good luck to everyone fighting this demon!!! U will be in my prayers!
