Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
I too have had endo for years but I was so bad that I had a hysto. Now I am in surgical menupause. Not sure which is worse. So sorry you have such a hard time.... What am I sayin I am so sorry both of us are having such a hard time!
I can only share what I have done and what I am going thru not that I have anything figured out! I tried 5htp kinda worked on my moods but not really so now I just today started SamEE. I really need this to work.
Do you take vitamin D? A huge % of our population is low which could be some of the problem. I now take 2000mg of it a day.
And exercise even if it kills me to get up. Once I get out of bed it really helps!
As for the not sleeping at night... I sleep really good during the day and never at night... I have found really making myself tired during the day and reading before I go to bed has done wonders... Not that I don't wake up cause I'm dying of heat but at least I get a little relief.
And....Thank you for posting this.... I really feel like I am crazy! I am being quite successful in destroying my relationship with my husband and well I just needed someone else who has "this" or these problems...
Hey I hear there is a really pretty rainbow at the end of menupause that's something to look forward too? :)
As far as vitamin D - I take 2000 IU's in the summer and 4000 the rest of the year. I'm also in the midwest.
