Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
What have you tried to alleviate them? I would try to ingest some phytoestrogens. The most potent form are flax hull lignans or ground flax. You might also try maca. As always, make sure you get a reputable brand. Check out the Maca Team site for red maca.
Best wishes!
Thank you very much.
I have been dealing with these issues for several years and in the past two years it had become unbearable. I have found solutions that work for me. First I started sleeping on a blowup mattress and have not had better sleep in years! We moved out room around so that my mattress was next to our bed. Because the air in the mattress is always cold I stopped waking up in a pool of sweat. To help with the hotflashes during the day and my depression I made two changes. First I have stopped eating meat (since so much of it has hormones that I need to avoid) and have based my diet on plant proteins. Second I started taking Menopause Support by now, which is a herbal supplement. It is crazy how after a few weeks I began to notice major changes. I swear by it.
