Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
I happen to think your headaches are hormone related. Especially since you have not had a period in 6 months. Most every one I have talked to has said their headaches got worse after their periods stopped. It's all part of menopause.
My friend told me the other day about a weird cure for her migraines. She said she noticed when drinking a Gator Aid that her migraines would go away. Weird I know but it's worth a try.
I think there might be something in the Gator Aid like minerals or something, who knows but I thought I would mention it to you.
Good luck! I know this is a very difficult time of life.
By the way I get a headache every month one day before I start my period.
Best wishes!
Vicki.
