Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
I used to work with elderly women and everyone I asked that had beautiful hair at 80 all said they only washed their hair once a week to maybe twice a week. There are dry shampoos that work great! And one really good pro about using dry shampoos is they are wonderful for thickening you hair too.
I don't use the dry shampoo until third day of not washing my hair. And you have to play with the dry shampoo to figure out what works better with your hair as far as when to use it. You might even be able to use it as a volume product! I do sometimes. I have thin hair and that is what's worked best for me.
Hope you can figure out what works best. I used to hate my hair until I started the routine of not washing my hair but once a week. Oh and the natural oils with really soften you hair after a few days that's another pro to not washing it so often.
Good Luck!
Vicki.
