hi everyone.. i am 50 haven't had a period for over 15 months...drs say that I'm thru menopause...today after having intercourse i felt like i was still aroused, and that i might climax just sitting in a chair..sorry its so embarrassing for me...all day i have been urinating like crazy..over 18 times..i also have a severe prolapse so I'm not sure if thats what causing these crazy feelings...has anyone else had this issue?? thank u.

This might be a long shot, but could it be a UTI? I've had frequent urination and the feeling of urgency when I start having a UTI. I haven't felt it to the extent you have, but the feelings you describe are similar. They have test kits you can buy at the drugstore. Might be worth looking into. I hope you feel better soon!

thank u spin...i feel like I'm going crazy..looking up persistent genital arousal syndrome this morning..scared myself silly...i have a drs appt this morning..im dying of embarrassment over this..i feel so stupid..spent most of today crying...just want to feel like myself again
hopefully its just a uti and will settle down....thank u for responding..

hey spin, went to the drs this morning and she has agreed to send me to a gynae..my hormones are all over the place..i have had spotting for the first time in 17 months...thought i was all over this but no its back...dr thinks the feelings are caused by a very large prolapse i have and my hormones being crazy at the moment....thank you for caring..xx

It sounds like the prolapse maybe pressing on a nerve in the clitoral area or causing blood flow to be cut off, producing "blood pooling" which would feel like a female erection :(
Have you tried a cool bath? I also had a similar reaction to yrs, from an MSG allergy I think, it came with the frequent urination also.
I pee all the time and also was told with one of my pregnancies that I had a tilted uterus.
Sometimes the Estrace (Estrodial) Vaginal cream can help with frequent urination. When we loose Estrogen, then the walls of the vagina and the bladder muscles weaken.

hi cassy i see the gynae tomorrow but what u said sounds exactly like what it feels like...i have a really severe prolapse so I'm hoping they can fix whatever is wrong with me...thank u for your reply

Well, I hope they can be thorough, and figure out what the problem is. Be careful and do research, concerning how they repair the prolapse. I'm in the U.S., and I am always hearing about this "mesh repair" that has been recalled. Make sure you get the most top-notch and advanced Treatment. It sounds scary and I think you are being very brave, Shanny
