Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.

HI LADIES ME AGAIN. I HAD TWO PERIODS THE MONTH OF SEPT. THE FIRST ONE STARTED THE 13TH AND THE SECOND ABOUT 2 WEEKS LATER WHICH LASTED INTO THE BEGINNING OF THIS MONTH. IS IT POSSIBLE TO FEEL LIKE SHIT AGAIN ALL OVER? NOW I WONDER AM I GOING TO START AGAIN AROUND THE 13TH OF OCT???? OR MAYBE JUST MISS ANOTHER ONE. THE WAY I FEEL IS BLOATED AGAIN, HEART PALPS, AND JUST PLAIN PISSY. HUBBY HAS BEEN HIDING IN THE GARAGE, AND I DONT BLAME HIM. BLESS HIS HEART HE BUILT US A FIRE OUTDOORS WHICH I LOVE, BUT TOO MISERABLE TO ENJOY IT. I HAVE BEEN THRU STRESS ALONG WITH HIM DUE TO HIS JOB ON STRIKE, AND I KNOW STRESS AND MENO OF ANY FORM ARE NOT GOOD. THANKS LADIES I FEEL I ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING JUST NOW, LOL!! KIDDING ASIDE I APPRECIATE ALL OF OUR FRIENDSHIPS:) HOPEFULLY TOMORROW WILL BE BETTER. I'M GOING TO KEEP MY GREEN SMILEY BECAUSE THATS THE WAY I WANT TO FEEL ALWAYS. GOD BLESS!!!

Momshere, I sure hope that you feel better soon. That can't be any fun! I have had a hyst, but still have my ovaries, so even though I don't flow, I feel like I should with how rotten I feel sometimes! Try not to be too stressed, because you are right that only makes it worse. I hope things get better soon for you. Take care

just a great big 'ole hug to you, hon. I do understand everything you're feeling - physical and emotional. I like to stare at a fire and hug pillows when I feel like that - feel better soon.

That happened to me in Sept also and now feel like I am about to start again.

Hey everyone, I started very low dose BCP'S to regulate my periods and so far so good.....might be worth checking out with your doctor. Good luck! Cori

Oh yeah! It's bad enough just having the one period and feelin' like shit the week before, but when you get another one a couple later it's like a continuing saga "Feeling Shitty Part 2" Some months I don't have the actual period, but the "Phantom Period". Think I'll write a movie script for it. All the signs: the bloatiness, the agitation, the tears....but no blood to be found. Sounds like a horror flick, don't it?

I'm starting to think being a female is a horror flick. First you get your period, then you get them at weird times, then you skip, then you get flooding. Okay, I'm finally past that part. Had my last one almost 4 years ago and now it's who cares about sex, can't concentrate, can't remember and just plain feel like shit. I wouldn't blame my husband if he hid in the garage from me. Only one problem there, we don't have a garage. Maybe that's why he watches so many of these political shows.

Yeah, It's a really good thing that I am not married because then I'd more than likely be a star on the show "snapped".
