Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
It probably would not hurt to try the patch & see if it helps, but you might not see immediate results and if, as sugarbooq says, your FSH is normal, it might not feel good to use estrogen.
I never did any bloodwork but I knew I was there bc of irreg periods etc...but having regular periods you could still be entering into peri at least. Hope you find out what works....DaisyC
