Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
I am 50. I went yesterday to the gyno.
He did not give me any blood test. He said that it hard to tell with a pitartary tumor.
He gave me activella to take. He said try it for two weeks to see if the hot flashes. Chills depression and anxiety works.
What do u think? My family doctor did fsh and it was .04. I know my hormones are crazy because of my tumor. I thinking that I have to look for another gyno who knows more about the pitartary gland.
I had a bad day. My stomach was been in pain all day. The medicine I take for my tumor is crazy. The side effects are depression anxiety stomach problems.
I am pretty much unhappy because I was hoping that this gyno would of been better.
Good luck!
