Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
Men can be such jerks. They have it so much easier than us women.
I am in perimenopause & I have been weepy at times & my husband attributes it to hormones. I never thought he would understand!
When it first started happening he didn't quite get it until I explained that a woman's reproductive system is SO much more complicated than a man's reproductive system. I explained how many different hormones are involved in menstruation, pregnancy etc. And that when the body gets older these hormones get out of whack & causes physical & mental symptoms. He actually got it. I couldn't believe it.
Anyway, I'm sorry your husband isn't getting it. Try talking to him when you are feeling better and look into the Maca & maybe something like Evening Primrose Oil.
I hope your husband understands soon & that you get relief soon too.
I'll pray for you.
Gentle hugs.
