Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
I went through the night sweats and it can be difficult to feel refreshed and rested when you get interrupted sleep because of the sweats. Just hang in there they eventually go away and only occur every once in a while.
just wondering did you get any nausea when you had them?..I can cope with the sweats but the nausea with both sweats and flushes is awful. :(
One thing I am seriously considering is a "chillow"? Does anyone have one? If yes, then do you feel it was worth it?
I have never heared of a 'chillow' lol and just looked on amazon, they have some good reviews and I might get one..I have taken to wrapping one of those picnic freezer blocks in a towel and keeping it too cool down, but the pillow does look very good.Thankyou for that! Have also cut out caffine and alcohol and have been drinking soy for about 6 months, I'll try the apples and cinnamon to see what happens and maybe look at some more 'culprit' foods. Thankyou again for the advice :)
