Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
It's a rough time and you are alone! so it's made even worse, I think. There are so many women on here that have the severe hot flashes. I feel so bad for all of them. I for some reason have not had those but it could be because I am on Xanax times 2 a day! I woke up one morning and just felt different. I can't describe any other way than that. Shortly after that started the shaking and not being able to breath. I don't know if it's menopause but since I am 52 and this all started about 4 years ago I am betting it is.
I know you must be going through so much all alone! have you looked into the Bio identical stuff. I know I would have a problem with them but know a lot of women that are taking them.
The estrogen in your body is fluctuating so much and that is why are are going through so much, which you may already know but I guess just to remind you you are not going crazy! lol
There are so many women on here that are so helpful and caring and that always helps!
Welcome to DS I hope you are feeling better tonight!
God Bless you!
