Meniere's Disease Support Group
Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
feel, plus both times ended up with a headache by the end of the day. And I usually don' t get headaches. Plus I was on Zyvestra yesterday and had a drop attack while at my son house. So I am not to sure about it yet.
I called them. What a sales pitch! They would NOT stop trying to sell everything under the sun (magazines, Tax help, etc.) and they try to get you to buy more and spend more and automatically enroll you into an automatic renewal program.
The ingredients are interesting and I am glad they listed them:
1. Cocculus Indicus - nausea and headaches
2. Echinacean -immunostimulant
3. G. Sempervirens= Breakdown Gelesemine to convert [3H]Progesterone into 3,5-tetrahydroprogesterone
4. Phytolacca Decandra = minimizing the onset of Histamine attacks
5. Pulsatilla = treat Neuralgic Pain
Interesting combination of homeopathic meds. I have tried #1 and #2 above from different homeopathic stores. This combination may work to help the symptoms but unclear if it will do anything to fix the underlying root of Meneire's. #3 G. Sempervirens sounds like alot of fluff on their web site (useless study) BUT the facts about increasing active progesterone hormones in the spinal canal is interesting because it has been use for neuron remodeling in other studies not stated on their website. However, if the true underlying cause of Meniere's Disease is abnormal endolymph in the hearing-vestibular complex, then this may not do anything because it it actually outside the nervous system and feeds the signals to it.
The sales person states to use for 2 months for FREE full 60 day refundable trial. Cost $114 with shipping for 2 months. Actually this cost is not too bad considering trying to buy all these herbs separately would cost about the same or more.
For a free trial for 60 days, I ordered and am going to try it. Will let you know (probably in a month or 2) what I think.

Basically states that Placebos (which are things healthcare providers give that do not have any true physiological effect or benefit) do help with symptoms. Maybe this medicine is just a combination of placebos, but the herbs probably do something for the vertigo symptoms. However, can NOT say that they will do anything for the unknown fundamental cause of Meneiere's/.
The more I think about the meds, I do not think they will do much for the deafness, but may help for the tinnitus and hopefully should help for the nausea and vertigo. But will never know until I try.
If the nausea and vertigo is daily and severe, you may consider trying it with a very low threshold to calling them back for the refund quickly. Would also call the credit card company at the same time to make sure that the funds are quickly credited immediately.
