Meniere's Disease Support Group
Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
It sounds as if you are not going to the right specialists. Yes, I had severe fullness in the left ear. Simplifying an extensive, complicated path... I went to the Meniere's specialists at the House Ear Clinic in LA and had the shunt operation. The fullness has abated and is sometimes there, but not in the rigorous way it had been in the past. I figured out my triggers, etc. by keeping a journal. But, my first step for improving was finding the right specialists. Of course, I got better only because I became very aggressive finding out my triggers. I am a firm adherent to the Meniere's Diet, exercise, and staying positive (easier said than done, huh.). Please find the right specialist. Perhaps you can contact the House Ear Clinic directly and start there. They have a website. Don't know where you live, but they might be able to recommend a Meniere's Disease Specialist in your area if you are unable to see them.
Hugs back to you...hope I helped in some small way.
One more thing, prednisone (steroid) didn't help me at all.
