Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.

Very Hot vertigo????

Well after three weeks of NO vertigo.... woke up at 0515 this morning on FIRE and spinning. Thank GOD it only lasted about 15 - 20 minutes and NO north or south (trying to keep it clean)... But this is twice now I have had short vertigo attack and been totally on fire. What is up with that? Has anyone else had this?

Sometimes I wonder if the vertigo kicks in everything else unique to you.... hot flashes perhaps, set off by the vertigo? I think it is different from just sweating with the vertigo attacks.
For me, knowing that someone else is going through the same thing, somehow helps me. Your experience sounds just like mine last week.

I don't know... I have been having hot flashes for about 5 years without vertigo and never this hot... something to think about. Also the last two attacks happen during sleep. And you are so right about knowing others feel like me it really helps me not feel odd and alone.
