Meniere's Disease Support Group
Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
MENIERE'S 10 COMMANDMENTS
1. THOU SHALT NOT BE PERFECT NOR EVEN TRY TO BE.
2. THOU SHALT NOT TRY TO BE ALL THINGS TO ALL PEOPLE.
3. THOU SHALT NOT LEAVE SOME THINGS UNDONE THAT .
OUGHT TO BE DONE.
4. THOU SHALT NOT SPREAD THYSELF TOO THIN.
5. THOU SHALT LEARN TO SAY NO.
6. THOU SHALT SCHEDULE TIME FOR THYSELF AND THY
SUPPORTIVE WORK.
7. THOU SHALT SWITCH OFF AND DO NOTHING...REGULARLY.
8. THOU SHALT BE BORING,UNTIDY, INELEGANT, AND
UNATTRACTIVE AT TIMES.
9. THOU SHALT NOT EVEN FEEL GUILTY.
10. THOU SHALT NOT BE THINE OWN WORST ENEMY BUT
THY BEST FRIEND.

Rich, I know exactly what you mean about bending, etc. bringing on the vertigo. I can't even reach for anything in the cabinets without getting a little spin. Only the grace of God (and a very understanding boss and co-workers) has allowed me to keep my job.
