Yes, I am also suffering with the social anxiety :( Do you get a fever when your MD is acting up? This happens to me. First thing I do is check my blood pressure and It's fine. So confusing!

I get the same way, I can no longer sit with my family at church, I sit in the rec. room where I can still here everything. I am starting to think it is more of a panic attack. I still can go out to eat. But only last about 30 minutes in the grocery store before I start getting sick. I think it is entangle with his disease. My big clue is I will start feeling really hot, then I know I better leave because I am going to get sick not might, I am. I to pray that one day we will all be healed.

Thank you all, yes I also get hot or feverish, I litterally feel the heat running down the back of my neck. If I go to a restaurant about thirty minutes after I get there, that's when it begins to bother me. I have to talk myself through the whole meal, when I can last the whole meal. Very frustraiting!

I've almost become a hermit, I get so uncomfortable in large group or crowded settings. I've had to stop going to church, partly because they are having a huge mold problem and that really makes me sick. Going to stores gets overwhelming, more because of the lighting and the rows and lines in the floors, then I start getting anxious about getting sick in public. I have become so photo sensitive that I have to wear special sunglasses (even indoors) for fear I'll get hit with a flash of light that will trigger a migraine or a dizzy spell - so that too makes me a bit anxious, and I don't like "looking" different, even though I already do walking with a walker.

Yes that always happens to me. I hardly go out, I think to its anxiety, we scare our self's in to be sick. Its a terrible way of life. I get the hotness to. I limit my self to being out no more then a hour,then in my head I feel better. Lately having more panic attacks ,I think because my MD has been acting up more and I am getting more migraines, hope we all feel better soon, at least I no I am not alone with all these feelings. hugs to all Squarley

I try to avoid crowed places. The movement of people milling around, the mulitple voices of people talking, in addition to over the speaker music triggers dizziness. The 1st sign is when my scalp tightens up. I didn't go anywhere for 2 yrs and then slowly started going with my husband to the grocery store. Now, I can go by myself, early in the mornings. I drive within my comfort zone (2 mile radius from home) and have learned that it's ok to feel "off." I wear a ring on my thumb tht says "faith" and I always say to myself "I can do all things through Christ Jesus." I know it may sound silly to some, but it helps me.Having MD for this long, I know what my triggers are, and try to avoid them. It is a lifestyle change and yes, it can be frustrating at times, but like you, I push forward in faith, and without that, I'd still be sitting home hugging a pillow to stabalize myself. Thank you for encouraging others by sharing your thoughts and a positive attitude.

What we go through is indeed intense. And it seems we are always trying to find ways to make us feel better. A different way of sitting, placeing our head in a different position, focus on something specific, we just keep trying! We have to, what else can we do! And like you Juniper I have the savior help me through it all. I know he carries me every step of the way!
