Meniere's Disease Support Group
Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
Sorry I don't know anything about Steroids.
I do have Meniers disease. It seems to be different for everyone.
The Tinnitus I have constantly. The Vertigo comes and goes. I've had the vertigo so bad I could not get up from an ice cold pavement in the Winter time. I was there hours....
I've had the vertigo in my vehicle several times also. Felt myself sort of falling or sliding to one side. I've learned to force myself to sit up straight when it happens and concentrate till I can pull over.
I know of nothing that cures it. I am fanatical about keeping my ears clean.
Let us ALL know how the steroids work out.
Thanks!
