Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
i have MD and has my uterus out and my Ovaries still in. You did the Sac and you still has vertigo and have a hard time walking. My ENT wants me to do the Sac surgery and I told him that I does not want to but will read up on it. I am glad that I read your post. I am not going through menopause my doctor said as yet but I am 47 years old. You ask a goo question and I wish I knew the answer because one day I will be thinking like you.
Did the gentamicin shots reduce your hearing?
I'm sorry to hear that all this you went thru did not produce what you had hoped for. This can be a mysterious syndrome. I have it too, but have never gone for the procedures that you have.
It started for me in 2004 and has never gotten better.
