Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.

I was offically diagnosed with MD in July 2015. Previous to that I had a ventilation tube placed in the affected ear because of a malfunctioning eustachun tube, which I have had in for three years.
In 2015 I had a couple of episodes where i had fullness and roaring in the ear followed in a day or two by severe dizzyness lasting several hours. Then I was okay for a while then I just woke up one day so dizzy I almost fell flat on my face when I got out of bed. I've been on low salt diet since diagnosis. Also been on diuretic for years for other reasons. Whenever I have an episode I start using cortisone ear drops to help reduce swelling although they do not genreally help with vertigo.
My ENT is sending me to a specialist to evaluate me for possible surgical treatment. I am in the middle of an episode now only moderate vertigo so far. Much more drastic hearing loss this time around. I do hope my hearing returns. I had quite good hearing on the affected side.

I did find that at the end of the steroid taper I experienced three and a half days of vertigo. So I don't think I'll be doing steroids again.
I started taking lemon bioflavinoids which is the first supplement in a list from a sight know as John of Ohio's regime.
I am not ready to have surgery that may not be successful or lose all my hearing in the process.
I have a bad head cold now, i just hope it doesn't trigger any MD symptoms.
