Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
Anyway, let go of your concerns. I like other soft noises so that I have something I like to listen to.

Also, DJ you notice that it is much worse when around other noises? I a teacher and it seems to flare up so much the kids come into the room or we are doing something with lots of chatter. Please tell me this will subside in a few days and not stay forever!

I am desperate for a few minutes of relief! It had been roaring for 4 straight days now. What I don't understand is how well I feel with my balance. You would think I would be having dizziness problems along with this, but it seems to be isolated to just the loudness in my left ear.
