Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
I don't know your age but - have you ever tracked you attacks next to your menstrual cycle? I was much more prone to attacks at certain times in my cycle. Keeping my hormones level is essential for me.
I took that info to my OB. She talked to my neurologist and they decided to put me on a constant birth control pill. It makes a big difference for me and I KNOW it when I forget to take it.
