Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
Since we can't control weather, but we can control what we eat.
Try to lessen salt in your diet.
Sodium intake is very important. Keep it as low as possible. No processed meat. No prepared, premade foods. No alcohol, No caffine.
Most canned foods are high in sodium. Look for no salt added. I always read nutritional label when i buy products.
Certain food allergies or sensitivity may aggrevate symptoms. Take food allergy test and avoid ones you are allergic too.
I make my own food 95% of the time. It's time consuming and super tiring. However, definitely beats getting bouts of vertigo and becoming immobile for days.
If I can do it, you can do it too.
Since my strict diet regimen symptoms have been shorter. Shorter meaning 4 days. I used to get 7-10 before.
