Meniere's Disease Support Group
Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
Today I was getting a massage and the MT said to me that she has several clients with MD that have tinnitus and they use Frankincense oil. Several drop behind the ear and down the jaw line. Does anyone out there have any experience with this? I am posting this here and on the Tinnitus group. Thank you in advance.
If you try it, get a Certified Therapeutic grade oil. You can get them on Amazon for a few dollars. A couple of good brands are Plant Therapy and Eden's Garden; they are stronger than the ones meant just for aroma therapy and are intended for more for medicinal purposes.
