Meniere's Disease Support Group
Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
You are right on target with your assessment and it sounds like you are getting all the correct treatment offers. be careful because sometimes MD will become bilateral. It is hard once you start to hit 50/60 years old because you start to loose function in the inner ear because of age. It is hard to discern what is MD and what is age related.

I don't know if you have seen any of the rotary walkers on the market? I have a large one for in the car (I am a heavy man) and a regular one (smaller) for in the house. I love my walkers, they have a seat in them and you can sit whenever and where ever you want. Insurance can cover the cost and they are not expensive to start with. I also had thoughts of a helmet but have been helped immensely with the walker.
