Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.

Before I went away in April (24) I have being so sick til this week. But strange my energy and mood is low. My balance is off and I felt like I was going to past out this past Tuesday. I am so tried and my head feels weird. I feel tried all the time. I do not know what is wrong with me. Does anyone experiences or had experience this? I am to get an CT done because of the MRI, plus get an hearing aid eval all in September. Am more tried now then ever. Its makes me do not want to do anything at all.

Yes I feel like that a lot and it is my Mnire's but I also have fibromyalgia and migraines it's good you're getting an MRI and a CAT scan that's usually what they do first is to rule out other things

and then getting the hearing exam to find out what is wrong it can be so many things but it can be Mnire's to hang in there keep us updated hugs, Shirley

I did an MRI already but I have to do a CT now. I am going to having an hearing aid eval for hearing aid. Today I felt like I was going to past out. I was sitting down and I got so dizzy so fast and had to close my eyes and open it and close it and open it again. Then the ringing in my ear got very loud and still is. The MRI showed something so now the CT before I find out what going on. My enegry got better and my mood. I guest it was just the MD. I have being sick for weeks but then felt better til today.

I often describe my attacks like a depression but I know they are not because I take medication and as soon as my ear drains I get back all my energy and that lethargic feeling goes away instantly. It really sucks while you are in it though. I feel that the roof could fall on my head and I wouldn't even care and I am a very active person when I am not having an attack. I don't know if the mri results or ct results are related to that fatigue feeling. I have an abnormal MRI but the neurologists tell me the spots are benign and most likely migraine scars. I hope it is something similar for you.

I've been taking ginger capsules first thing in the AM for years now and it has really helped all these symptoms tho i still sleep more than before. I used to have lots of seepage from my ears and even this has abated! However if carpeting is a bit dizzy, than i get it too...I take Radiance's ginger.

My energy came back. My headache got a bit better, But I get really bad spells still. Thanks
