Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
Google this, my friends, and you'll find out what this procedure is and does without having to leave your ENT's office. I had it done yesterday and it was literally painfree and no pain today (day after). No light headedness or dizziness all day...no meclizine,no Xanax. It was kind of like what they call " steroid euphoria" even though it is an antibiotic gentamicin (not a steroid) that is injected thru the eardrum (after topically anesthesizing). I may need to have this once a week, once a month twice a year whatever...each one of us is different with Meniere's, so how long we can go without feeling dizzy and light headed will determine how often we need this treatment. I really hope this works for you, but the side effects seem to be worse than the "cure".
Please keep us all posted on how you're doing. I truly hope this is what helps you.
