Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
Hi from Canada again. Just checking in after awhile away. I had a clear follow-up mammogram report, after a bout with breast cancer!! Then yesterday had a good dental check-up after two years of not going due to not tolerating my head down in the chair. NOW if someone could just help and fix my head and wonkiness I'd be a new woman. Has anyone tried Venlafaxine\Effexor for their vestibular conditions?
Good to hear from you and that things are well. I have never heard of using Effexor in regards to MD unless it is to treat the depression that many of us have. If you are currently taking a depression med be careful so you are not double dipping unless the Dr deems it wise to do so.
