Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.

All day headache

Any one have this for a whole day the headache and dizziness and nausea,this ia the second time this has happened ,i am so tired. hugs for all, thank you ,Squarley

Thank god I don't get headaches. Am I the only one? I see where a lot of pepole get them.

I get them everyday. If I'm lucky, they start around 3 in the afternoon. Otherwise they start around 8am. I've been with the same neuro since 2005 and I love him. some would think that's a long time for no results, but he tried all the "standard" medicines and then started thinking out of the box. Unluckily, nothing worked except vicodin. He took me off of that because long term use can effect your liver (tylenol in it) and put me on oxycotin and oxycodone. I HATE them. I see him next week to beg to go on something else. The oxy's give me a secondary headache and I have to take around 6 to fall asleep. I would have to take 8 vicodins a day, but I also could function everyday. Our house was clean, we didn't run out of food, I could go to the pool and do my exercises and to the shooting range which really helped my eyes calm down. Since going on the oxy's, I have no life. My husband has withdrawn all support emotionally because all I can do is lay on the couch or bed, and I have a constant headache. 1/2 the time I can't even lay down.

So if you haven't been to a neurologist, I suggest you go. There are alot of meds out there that are good (my personal opinion only is Topomax was made by evil) but many others that have worked on people who get dizzy headaches.

Shirley, yes I do get the headaches and its a constintant all day long thing. I take allergie medication in hopes it would calme things down. I tell my doctor that I would be willing to deal with a headache anytime over dizziness! He finally gave me 800mg ibuprophen and it calms things down. I pray you feel better soon!

My headaches come & go. I have a cowboy hat that I like to wear outside. And when I take it off it still feels like it's on my head. When I was still working, my hard hat seemed to feel uncomfortable in a similar way. It's always something w/ MD!
