Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.

So if you have read my previous posts, you already know I've tried many kinds of medicine available, no matter the "western" types or traditional Chinese medicine, few of them did really help me from reducing the times of attack. Before I go for the ear injection, probably i'll try acupuncture first. But the Chinese medicine doctor told me to be prepared it's only for relieving instead of curing. Actually I've never felt normal since I had this so anyway I'll give it a try later. Will update on how I feel.

Good Luck! I used accupuncture for years for a back problem which eventually stabilized and I no longer have difficulty with it. I am now going in on Monday for an injection because I have an event I must attend and cannot afford to to wobbly or experience any of the other awful episodes associated with Meniere's. I'll post results. And again, good luck!

Good Luck to you. I hope your event goes very well. What injection are you getting? IF there is something that stops this spinning for a little bit it would be fantastic.

not quite sure about acupucture for vertigo bit i have a bi weekly for tinitus and ear pressure.
