Meniere's Disease Support Group
Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
A lot have being happen that's why I am not on this website much. First I was suppose to get a hearing aid in august but it did not work out. My insurance finally stop paying for me to see that ENT and I just found out why. Anyways, I had given up finding or wanting am ENT. I did an hearing test three months ago and had lost more hearing, now my high sound are affected. I notice the different before I was tested.
It was June last year I was tested and found that I have MD. Because of the hearing loss it was recommended that I saw an ENT. I did not want to, But I had to in order to get an clearance for the hearing aid. I really did not want to see an ENT.
In between I have being have bronchitis back to back. It was awful. My thyroid is swollen and found out i have a lump. Trying to be sane about it. But the kind of best part is I end up going to an ENT and its a female and shockingly I seems to like her. She seemed good. She said I must not eat bead because it has a lot of salt in it, I did not know until I look at the dose wow, I said.
Because I received the clearance for the hearing aid, I took out the cotton ball I have being wearing in my ear. And now the ring is loud and my ear is full (which have not felt it for awhile with the cotton), and its hurts. But do not want to put cotton back in my ear because once I get the hearing aid (if I do) I need to get use to not having the cotton. Please pray that I do not get sick at all.
Lastly, I have being doing good. Got sick some time but overall am good. This year has being a weird year and has a lots of ups and down. Buts it Christmas.

It sounds like you've had quite an ordeal with ENTs. I hope the new lady ENT works out much better for you. Does your insurance cover the cost of a hearing aid? Most do not, so if yours does, you are very blessed! Hang in there . . . this is a process, as you know. Happy 2015 and may your new year be the best ever!
