Meniere's Disease Support Group
Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
A good ENT is a must. Good luck!!!
I hope too, that you are able to continue working....
Every time I read about someone else's bad vertigo attack, I am right back at my first one. It's strange how you don't forget... I think that is why we do everything to avoid that vertigo. It is just nasty!
Like others have said, this group listens well. We are constantly trying to learn more about this disease. In the process I have learned to cope a little better with my own triggers and symptoms. The support given here helps when bad days come.
May God be with you as you fight your MD.
God bless,
Marlene
