Simply Jif is low in sodium, so you can make a PB&J! PB&banana is also a favorite of mine (and good for my potassium)
Hope it helps, the average person eats the same 16 meals on a recycling basis, it pays to track your diet for a few weeks and then go back and make modifications you can live with, add a few new things like yogurt and fruit.

Making it is NOT hard. You don't need any special
machines. Just a little time. If you've never done it before
just watch it on youtube and then give it a try. I use any bread
recipe and just don't put in any (ANY) salt. My favorite tool
is called a Danish Dough Whisk. It's a bent wire on a stick.
Since I got that, I don't use a bread machine, or fancy mixer
with a dough hook anymore. It is Very! easy.
For the meat, I do what newtoMD does... I make extra meat
at suppertime. Then I just slice it very thin. Another one of
my new favorites is roasting red peppers to put in the sandwiches.
Very good..... You can find mustards that are pretty low in sodium
too.... And add a piece of swiss cheese, or better yet a melted
swiss cheese sandwich on homemade bread.... with roasted red
peppers.... And it is good for you!
Can you make me one of those sandwiches and send it my way?
Please...LOL

One thing to look into is flour tortilla! This can replace bread and when you take only one slice of lunch meat and one slice of cheese you can put in a leaf of lettuce add mustard or any condiment, roll it up into a wrap. Put it in a paper towel and then foil wrap it. This will keep it moist and yet cool. The beauty of tortillas is that you can not put a lot of food in them yet it seems enough, if you need more food eat yogurt.
Hope this helps.

Watch out for sodium in those flour tortillas too. I still buy them
for my husband and one brand can be low, but I've seen some that
are 560mg sodium for just one medium sized tortilla. I know why
they do it, but it's disgusting, even for people who don't need low sodium.

God's blessings to you.
Here's my usual breakfast: A cereal mix that I concoct myself, of puffed wheat and puffed gamut making up about 80% of the mix and then I add some high bran flakes and Cheerios for the last 20% to add flavor. Then not too much milk and/or half & half.
Either a slice or two of salt free bread (Safeway) with salt free butter . If I'm feeling really good, I'll substitute half a plain bagel and a thin covering of cream cheese with jam. My MD seems to do OK with that. Oh, and the morning newspaper. My wife calls this "Dullsville", but she doesn't have MD. Mal
