I keep thinking in the back of my head that if the IT steroid injections don't work, I'll just ask to have the surgery done, but I now realize from reading your experience, that this is a very difficult procedure to get through.
I hope you are feeling better soon.
Dzy I will say that my surgery was complicated by a blood clot so not everyone has as rough of a time recovering. My doc though never prepared me for how difficult it could be so it was a SHOCK! I know others on this site have not had good outcomes from the surgery and I think stats have it as 50/50 success. So it's truly a crap shoot. Don' t you wish there was a good answer and we could all chat about how much we appreciate our health after being sick for so long!
As of course you know just make sure your doc who does the gent shots has done tons of them. I think if I had to do it all over again I would do gent shots. I was concerned about recovery time but I dealt with that anyways :) Hope tomorrow is a great day for everyone!
