I get hot all over have knots in my neck from stress,I get tingling in my feet and legs ,I do not know if that is from stress or what ,we all have different feelings, it could be stress. HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON, hugs with love,Shirley

When I get a really bad attack, I think it is the "sympathetic nervous system" = Flight or flight response kicking in.

My hands and feet get really cold and they break out into a cold sweat. I can feel my entire face and body flush but at the same time it feels like the blood is draining from it. This sometimes even happens when I am having a mild MD flare (deaf, fog, and mildly nauseated) and am really tired.

I almost always have a knot at the back of my neck and base of my skull. I can't say that I have noticed it feeling hot. When I do have a bad spell, I will have what feels like hot flash sensations throughout my body and tingling sensations. It also seems to depend on what the trigger was and if the episode is linked to my migraines or not.

I have a question related to the "hot flashes/flushing."

Do any of you get those "hot flashes/flushing" when you lay back down after getting up in the middle of the night?

I feel hot all the time but think it is more male menopause I love the window open at night when I sleep if I had my way you could see your breath in the bed room lol but I don't . Had a weird experience a few weeks ago when driving on a long trip, my right ear started getting hot then it worked it's way around my head . It was about 32 out side but needed to open the window to cool down, not sure what that was about

right before an attack hits I get both really cold and really hot. It's like I'm hot but sweating. As for the knot, those are most likely a migraine that often comes with it. The best thing to do is put most of your body against a flat surface and breathe slow and deep (in through nose, out through mouth). Usually it is the fight or flight mentioned already that is causing your body to get the cold and sweaty feeling. Hope you feel better soon.

When I had my 1st vertigo attack I thought it was a low blood sugar episode, which I've had most of my life. Cold sweats, stomache upset, hot & sweating. The exact same syptoms for a pre vertigo attack

I was thinking...I really wish doctors would log on to our support group and read all our symptoms. I mean do it on a regular basis; even make it part of their studies to be able to get their license. I just think that if they were to read our questions and journals they would get a better understanding of what to help us with....(can you tell I'm frustrated!). lol
