Meniere's Disease Support Group

Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.

Hello. And welcome to this group. I read your blog. I think you have some great advice.... even the three-wheeler...It is always great to hear from someone who has hit this disease head on and come out ahead. I'm looking forward to more of your comments in the future.

I also read your blog. Excellent advice and very uplifting. Thank you for posting. BTW, I have also, after leaving first coffee and then decaf coffee behind, finally left chocolate behind. That has been the toughest one yet. But I, like you, do find that it makes a difference. The Meniere's diet is a tough one, but I do find the stricter I stick to it the better I feel. I have especially found that low level, constant dizzy nauseated feeling to be much better. Having folks like you on this website who have found a way to live successfully with this disease is really wonderful. I look forward to hearing more from you.

I do not see where "Recommendations" heading is located at? Am I the only one (probably.......my wife tells me all the time after I turned 50, "about time you figured that out, took ya half a century to do so!!!!....LOL"
