I have it. I had surgery a few years ago. Does anyone else have this one? My doc told me it is rare, with no known cause.

I do. My doctor was misinformed and cancelled my procedure and will not release records to my doctors, who are ill-equiped to deal with disease. That is illegal, isn't it? I NEED treatment - he practices at a well know University and Hospital in Tampa. Has the surgery helped??

I think that the hospital or practice technically owns the records but I
would check with the state medical board about this one. It seems for continuity of care that the records need to be shared with the doctors who
are treating you now. Having worked in a hospital there are always fears
of malpractice. Yep, call your state medical board and ask them what to do.
Alternative is to hire a lawyer which could cost you lots. Good luck.
