I joined this site months ago,I have IH and Fibro so Doctors say,,I've joined a few different forums to sort out,read and learn from others .Hopeful that I find what Doctors are missing ! I have a long list of SX . I started with cronic pain 3 years ago out of nowhere it started with a pain just above my right ankle about 3 in. felt like I was hit there with a bat.For no real reason it came on lasted for a few months along with a carpel tunnel right wrist feeling and pain in my first and second finger right hand.Again lasting for a few months and then gone.Thats how things started i list a few of my SX that I have gone through in the last 3 years that come and go.
Right now my biggest problem has been weakness mainly effects one side at a time left arm and leg or bottom half of me from waist down really is a problem legs hurt all the time weak flu like feeling seems like the muscle behind my left knee swells aches and burns gets really weak and makes me limp.
I have muscle spasms all over since surgery Sept. 22 2010 for a LP Shunt for the IH,had them before just not this bad.neuropathy,dull acheing pains in my legs calfs left side mainly,knee pain both sides really bad daily I have all the signs of Fibro but no trigger point pain in all areas just maybe 3 of the 18 hmm... tendonitis bad in my feet,ankle my fingers cramp up after useing the for a few mins.bal. is way off Brain fog bad I dont sleep anymore ! my memory is no longer there short term ,I mean walking from one room into another and out the window it goes ! Yesterday Ipoured my coffee in my sugar container DONT TELL MY HUSBAND ! ,,depression,I think I have the anxiety under control.
ok I'll stop there I've already over done it I'll fill in the blanks later I just wanted to get some input from those of you who live with this and to see if I'm even close in thinking this is a possibility !! THANK YOU ALL for listening to me ramble and in advance for any input you can offer !!!

You are right knowledge is power with these type of illnesses. If you can understand how and why it makes coping with them. So much easier.
I tell everyone write things down get a small note book keep it with you it helps when talking to doctors etc cos you have the info there, sometimes it's months between visit and you don't remember everything.
